To the man I haven’t met yet,
I don’t know your name, and I don’t know where you are right now. But I know who you are.
You are a man who remembers—or perhaps yearns for—a time when the world made sense. You are a man who values strength, order, and leadership. You are looking for a sanctuary from the chaos of the modern world, a place where you can take off your boots, sit in your favorite chair, and be treated like the King of your castle.
I am writing this letter to tell you that I am building that castle for you.
I Am Not Just Waiting; I Am Preparing
Please know that while I am searching for you, I am not sitting idly by. Every single day of my 42-Week Rebirth is dedicated to you.
• When I practice my voice training, I am tuning the instrument of my speech so that my words are a soft comfort to your ears,.
• When I endure the discipline of my beauty regimen, I am ensuring that the skin you touch is smooth, hairless, and distinct from your own.
• When I curry my home and learn the domestic arts, I am preparing a kingdom where your needs are met before you even have to voice them.
I am doing this work now so that when you finally walk through my door, you do not find a “project” that needs fixing. You will find a wife who is ready.
The Life We Will Share
My hope for our future is simple: Peace.
I want to give you a life where you never have to argue for your place at the head of the table. In our home, your authority will not be questioned; it will be celebrated. I want to relieve you of the domestic friction that plagues modern marriages.
I envision a home where you lead, and I follow. Where you provide the structure, and I provide the softness. I want to be the “beautiful prize” that greets you at the door—freshly lipsticked, smelling of perfume, and wearing the dress you love—marking the end of your work day and the beginning of your relaxation.
My Promise to You
I know that I am 72 years old. I know that my path to womanhood has been unconventional. But my promise to you is that no woman born to this role will cherish it more than I will.
I am preparing to be your Safe Harbor. I am preparing to surrender the “heavy armor” of decision-making so that you can drive the car while I sit happily in the passenger seat. I am preparing to be yours—physically, emotionally, and completely.
Until you find me, I will be here, polishing the silver, smoothing my skirts, and keeping the light on for you.
Your Sissy, Bambi
